About us
For more than 45 years between moulds and moulding
Since 1976 the Conti Afro, individual company, has been designing and building moulds for plastic injection moulding. A few years later the first injection moulding machine was installed. In 1999 Conti Afro’s sons took on the activity and the company changed its name to Mecaplast. Since 2000 we have been a certified company in conformity to the quality system ISO 9001.

The beginning
From his previous work experience as an employee in a mould-making workshop, Conti Afro opend his homonymous mould design and construction company for the moulding of plastic materials.

1980
The first factory
Construction of the first factory for polymer injection moulding.

1995
Expansion
Expansion of the moulding plant, warehouse and construction of new offices.

1999
The sons join the company
The company changed its name in Mecaplast s.a.s with the entry of Conti Afro’s sons in the society.

2000
New factory
Acquisition of an adjacent plot of land and construction of a new production plant intended for polymer injection moulding.

2005
Another adjacent plot of land
Mecaplast continued his investments and acquired another adjacent plot of land.
Vision
The knowledge of polymers and their technical characteristics in order to realize innovative and technological applications.
Mission
A continuous update on new materials, on technological innovation in the construction of mould and in the injection moulding of thermoplastic polymers is the basis for offering a complete service to the customer. Mecaplast can propose technical solutions and develop a partnership to support all project phases: design, prototyping, choice of materials, mould construction, moulding of products, accessory and finishing works, management of prime contractors.
