Amorphous polymers belonging to the family of thermoplastic elastomers styrene. SBS and SEBS elastomers are among the most widely used elastomers for the production of various objects where softness, soft touch, aesthetics are required. They lend themselves very well to customized formulations specifically designed for the final application. Compared to Styrene Butadiene Styrene (SBS), the Styrene Ethylene Butylene Styrene (SEBS) is more technical and performant in particular applications because it resists better to oxidative action of UV rays, has an operating temperature that can even reach up to 120 ° C, there are specific formulations to overmold a large number of rigid thermoplastics (PP, SAN, PS, ABS, PC-ABS, PMMA, PA) which allow to vary the design of aesthetic or functional items as desired. The scale of hardness is very broad and ranges from 15 ShoreA to ShoreD hardness.
